General & preventive dentistry.
Exams, cleanings, gum health and the quiet maintenance that keeps treatment small.
General dentistry
The visits that keep everything else small.
Most expensive dentistry is late dentistry. General care is the unglamorous half of this practice, and it is the half that decides how much of the other half you will ever need.
An interval that fits you, not a default
Six months suits most people. Active gum disease, dry mouth, diabetes or a run of cavities means more often, and we will explain why rather than just booking it.
X-rays when they are due
Imaging is taken on a risk-based interval, not at every visit as a matter of routine.
Comfort options that are actually offered
Nitrous oxide and minimal oral conscious sedation are available here, and so is simply going slower and narrating each step.
A written plan you can read
What is healthy, what is being watched, what needs doing now, and what can reasonably wait: sequenced, priced and in plain language.

What this covers.
Each treatment has one page, whichever area of care you arrived from.
FAQ
Know before you visit.
Twice a year covers most healthy adults. Patients with a periodontal history typically need three or four visits a year, because the bacteria in a previously diseased pocket recolonize on roughly a three-month cycle. That shorter interval is the treatment, not an upsell.
Then the first job is a full picture and a sequence. We stabilize what is causing pain or spreading, then work through the rest in an order that makes clinical and financial sense. Very few plans have to happen all at once.
Yes. Oak Hills Dentistry sees patients of all ages. If a child needs treatment better delivered by a pediatric specialist, we will say so and refer.
We will always want an exam alongside it, at least on a first visit. Cleaning a mouth without knowing what is in it means treating around problems rather than finding them.
